My name is Marcel, I’m a photographer and avid cyclist based in London. The name and ethos of the website centers around the fact that for me photography is a daily activity, a regular creative release I’m passionate about and enjoy. To me photography is a journey: it’s taken me to many places around the world, has enabled me to explore cultures, meet people, learn from others and learn more about myself.

I’ve learned the hard way and for that I am grateful. I’ve not received any formal training, I’ve made and will make many mistakes. There have been more days and nights of the cold rain, bad light and tricky situations than I can remember. But I don’t regret any of it, its a means to an end, a constant learning process and one that is filled with many successes to go with those failures.

Photography is my attempt to represent my view of the life of others. There’s much to celebrate about regular daily life, that which we take for granted. There’s an interesting aesthetic all around us, so far as to say that even the seemingly mundane can be presented in an interesting way. That is what this site aims to do,
